Both Dar es Salaam and Arusha have international airports i.e. Julius Nyerere (DAR) and Kilimanjaro (JRO – Arusha). You can also fly to Moi International airport in Mombasa, Kenya and arrange for road travel by car or bus from there.
By Road/Bus
There are frequent bus services to Tanga from Dar es Salaam (5-7 hours), Arusha (6 -7 hours) and Mombasa (4 – 5 hours) so getting here by bus is easy but takes time.
